Find your way around XOXO and get from a new account to your first email sent, with the setup each step needs along the way.

XOXO is where you write and send your newsletter. Signup forms and imports bring people into your audience, and each email shows how it did once it’s out. Every account gets every feature.

Where things live

The app has three main areas, each one step away in the sidebar.

Emails

Where you write, test, send, and track emails.

Audience

Where you manage subscribers, connections, file imports, fields, tags, and groups.

Forms

Where you create, share, and embed signup forms.

Your account settings, sending email and domain, team, referral link, billing, and AI agents live in Settings, from the actions menu in the lower left. The same menu holds your profile and switches between accounts.

Send your first email

  1. Fill in your account settings with the name subscribers see, the physical address every email footer needs, and a link to your privacy policy. Your sending email starts as the email you signed up with, so change it or set up its domain whenever you’re ready.
  2. Bring in the subscribers you already have with a connection or a CSV import.
  3. Design your first form. XOXO creates one with your account.
  4. Share its landing page or embed it on your site so new people can sign up.
  5. Write your first email and send yourself a test.
  6. When everything looks right, send it now or schedule it for later.

XOXO is free during early access, so there’s nothing to set up for billing. Billing explains what changes when billing launches.
